Belhaven Hill School
The Eagles Eye

Dear <<First Name>>,

The view from the study

This fortnight started with a few high temperatures and the necessary precautions that follow – again, it was remarkable to see the ability of children, parents and staff to adapt to these challenging circumstances.

At school, everyone has given their all and the children have continued to enjoy everything on offer, achieving that balance that is so important to a good education: sport, outdoor education, preparation for music exams, thinking of the community through various charitable projects.

There was also a strong focus on Anti-bullying week, with awareness raised by assemblies, poster campaigns, PSHE lessons and the writing of letters of kindness to other children and members of staff.

It has been great to see the focus and determination of a Belhaven exam week and I hope that everyone has been able to identify the progress that they have made this term with the help of their teachers, tutors and friends – reports will follow soon!

Please could I ask that everyone be very cautious over this final weekend out so that we can continue to operate as happily and successfully as we have done so far this term.

With best wishes,

Olly Langton
