Please find here important updates and recaps. It has been a busy time on campus... but our community shined, and the support has been fantastic!
Upcoming PTC Date Changed
The upcoming all-school Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC) will now take place on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. (It was previously scheduled for March 22.)
RIS is proud to announce that some of our teachers have been selected to present at the EARCOS Conference from March 22 to 25. A few other teachers have also been approved to attend this great conference. As we want all our teachers to be available to meet with our parents, it was decided it would be best to adjust our PTC schedule.

SEASAC
RIS hosted the SEASAC Basketball & Touch Rugby invitational and proudly welcomed international schools from Thailand and across Southeast Asia. Coach Raha and his team did an excellent job hosting the tournament. Our student athletes who competed at other SEASAC events in Bangkok also did well. Thank you for your school spirit and supporting our student athletes!

The Little Mermaid, Jr.
Mr. Christian Garretson recently directed an incredibly talented ensemble of students in a production of The Little Mermaid, Jr. The student cast poured a lot of effort into preparing for the shows, which got rave reviews and were a huge hit! Great job to the cast, crew, and all involved in the production... I can hardly wait to see the play this spring!

RIS Fun Fair
Last Saturday, we brought back a blast from the past and hosted the RIS Fun Fair on campus! It’s not always easy to ask everyone to spend their Saturday at school, but the excitement and vibe during Fun Fair were extraordinary. It was a huge hit, and I appreciate everyone who attended as well as the fun, laughter, and positivity they all brought to the day.
Shout out to Activities Coordinator Ms. Shirley Gamble for the detailed planning, organization, and passion she poured into this special, fun-filled celebration of RIS’ 65 years in education… It was great to see the RIS community celebrating and having a great time together!

Senior Trip
Our senior class will be headed out on their senior trip to Kanchanaburi this weekend... We wish them safe travels and hope they build some incredible memories!

Summer School 2023
Save the dates for RIS Summer School, which takes place from Monday, June 12, to Friday, June 30, from 7:30 a.m to 3:30 p.m.
Our summer school coordinators are Mr. Steve Liu (for ES/MS) and Dr. Nathan Meisner (for HS). Stay tuned for more information about classes, courses, and electives in the following weeks.
