MEET THE YOUNG JUDGES

We would like to introduce to you our 2019 cohort of Young Judges. We have selected 14 young people to sit on the judging panels for the 2019 Diana Award. These young people from all over the world will take on the responsibility of selecting this year’s incredible Diana Award Holders.

A BIT OF INSPIRATION_

This month we're spotlighting Diana Award Holder Domenique. Domenique received her Diana Award in 2009 for her work on short film, ‘Wednesday’s Child’, which combated bullying and gun safety. Now Domenique is an active mental health advocate and she has recently written about the challenges that young people face and how they can overcome them to become Superheroes in their own right.

TWO WEEKS LEFT TO APPLY FOR CAMPAIGN BOOTCAMP
Campaign Bootcamp is a week-long training residential that supports young people to develop the skills and confidence to run a great campaign. It brings together 35 upcoming campaigners from across the country (and sometimes, the world) to learn and build a community together.
Applications close on Tuesday 23rd April 2019.

ENTER THE 'WHO CARES I DO' CHALLENGE
Calling young film makers, writers and creatives! The global 'Who Cares I Do' challenge is asking young people to share their story and stand up to bullying through creative arts. Enter and you could be in with a chance of winning an iPad, an Apple Pencil and a trip to Los Angeles.

 JOIN THE WORLD’S BIGGEST HUMAN RIGHTS EVENT
Amnesty International is looking for 10 passionate campaigners under the age of 25 to support through their Write4Rights campaign, in solidarity with human rights defenders. It has the potential to make 5.5 million people globally aware of your story or campaign, raising your profile and spotlighting your work.
