YOUR STORIES_

This month on the blog we hear from Diana Award recipients Nojus Saad, Hollis Belger and Lauren Galley.

Nojus grew up witnessing the physical and mental abuse of women in his community. On this World Humanitarian Day, Nojus, now a President and CEO of ‘Youth For Women’, tells us how he has turned his attention to tackling gender inequality.

Hollis has dedicated over 700 hours to philanthropic missions, raising over $500,000. Her global ‘Juggling for Jude Challenge’ launched in June 2020 and raised $50,000 alone for ‘St Jude Children’s Research Hospital’. In this blog dedicated to International Day of Charity she inspires us to take action for causes of our choosing.

Lauren has empowered girls through her ‘Girl Power Camps’ and has led on the development of a ‘GIRL TALK’ curriculum for US schools, as well as a supportive pen power programme in Africa. In her International Day to Prevent Education from Attack blog, Lauren reminds us of the importance of education during war and conflict.
