We’re delighted to introduce to you the newest team member of the Award and Development Programme, Louise!

Louise joins us from The Diana Award’s Anti-Bullying Programme, where she helped to support young people undertake their anti-bullying campaigns in school and in their communities.

Both Saraniya and Louise are excited to continue to support you in your personal and professional development, campaigns and social action projects. We’d love to hear what projects you’re working on and what you’ve got planned for 2021!

John Walsh's journey to becoming a best-selling author, keynote speaker and entrepreneur is an inspirational example that no two paths are the same. As a teen, John was homeless in high school and as a young adult, he spent years trying to figure out his purpose and what he wanted to do in life. His journey became a series of events that led him to graduate from college with honours and become a senior executive with The Walt Disney Company and The Madison Square Garden Company.

This month on the blog we hear from 2017 Legacy Award recipient Mercy, a courageous social activist who has used her own experience of stigma and discrimination to drive her commitment and pursuit of equality for young people living with HIV.

We also heard from 2019 Legacy Award recipient Erick who is committed to raising awareness about anti-microbial resistance and is the Founder and CEO of Roll Back Antimicrobials Resistance (RBA Initiative).
