WRITE A LETTER TO YOUR FUTURE SELF_

We are excited to announce that on 12 August, The Diana Award will launch the new five-year strategy, Future Forward.

Future Forward sets out what the Diana Award will do over the next five years to empower young people to make positive change. Today, we are asking you to support the launch of our strategy by writing a letter to your future self.

We’d love to share these letters on our website and social media channels to start the conversation about how we move forward together over the next five years.

Learn more about how to write a letter and send it to comms@dana-award.org.uk with the subject line "Letter to My Future Self".

YOUR STORIES_

This month on the blog we hear from 2019 Legacy Award recipient, Madhav Datt, and 2019 Diana Award recipient, Marigold Mioc.

For World Refugee Day, Madhav Datt from India tells us how we can stand together to shine a light on the rights, needs and dreams of refugees. Madhav works to develop technology and data solutions to address crises faced by local communities, and particularly young people, across the world.

For International Women In Engineering Day, Marigold Mioc from Canada shares the importance of empowering youth to develop STEM and leadership capabilities to help them reach their potential. As a Youth Ambassador for ‘Apar Initiative’, Marigold is passionate about normalising women in engineering.

DO YOU WORK ON POLICY CHANGE?

Meet our Policy Coordinator, Kate!

Kate looks after our Policy function, overseeing our interactions with parliamentarians, policymakers, and other external organisations. She supports our lobbying and campaigns work, fighting to make sure the government listens to young people’s voices on issues that are important to you.

She’d love to know how best to support you, so if there’s any policy work you’d like to see The Diana Award doing or anything in Kate’s portfolio you’d like to get involved with, please do get in touch.
