I hope your summer is starting off as good as ours.  Sales have been very busy with both the sales and leasing ends of the business.  The extra daylight might be part of what is driving us, but we have also been stepping up our marketing efforts.  We have always prided ourselves on being leaders in marketing.  With the help of Engel & Völkers, we can continue expanding our efforts. As a recent example,  we have been able to utilize unique advertising spots in publications like the Wall Street Journal where we recently featured one of our listings.

Please take a moment to check out our video and blog post below taking you on a tour of the Walker Building.  Besides being the location of our Downtown Long Beach headquarters, the Walker Building is one of the coolest loft projects in town. Take a look at the video, and you will get a tour of one of unit #411 and learn a few little historical tidbits about the building, like that its designer was the same individuals who built the famed Grauman Chinese theater.

Rent control will NOT be on the November ballot for Long Beach

It looks like Long Beach will not have rent control on the November ballot. According to the Long Beach Post, the "housing advocates" who were trying to get rent control on the November ballot failed to submit the petition in time. This is good news for Long Beach.
