As the summer rolls on, the real estate market is, for the most part, as hot as it has been all year with a generally low supply of properties for sale and upward pressure on prices and rents.  We are starting to see some slowing in the higher end of the market and a slow increase in active inventory; this is the case for both sales and rentals.  The Long Beach real estate market is going strong with some areas running stronger than others. If you ever have any specific questions about a particular area or property, please feel free to reach out to me directly.  I am always happy to talk about real estate.

It is great seeing the physical improvements to our town, especially in Downtown Long Beach.  I have included a couple of my blog articles on the subject.  One covers the New York Times article about Downtown Long Beach and the other is about the old Verizon building.  It is especially good news for the DTLB and Ocean Corridor, but it helps the entire city and the rest of the area as well.

I am also particularly proud of the progress that the Mike Dunfee Group has been making as a team.  Our production and most importantly the improvements in the service to our clients continues to improve.  We have some great new marketing about to be released as well as some new team members who have all been making significant contributions.  Even though my name is out in front, it is our team members who make it happen.
