Kananaskis adjustable wave - Concept engineering
We have completed the conceptual engineering for the Kananaskis adjustable wave and we have some drawings and project status updates. The adjustable wave will make perfect surf and kayak waves on the Lower Kananaskis River and is a partnership between the Alberta River Surfing Association, Alberta Whitewater Association, and Surf Anywhere with engineering services provided by Applied Ecohydraulics and Rostel Industries. The project is fully funded for engineering, permitting, and part of fabrication and installation. We need your support to complete the funding. We have raised $234,000 cash and still need $28,000 to complete the funding for fabrication and installation.
Status of our current fundraiser is below. We need $28,000. Project costs and budget will be updated after we complete the preliminary engineering, submit for permits, and get updated quotes for fabrication and installation.
Draft leash use policy during ARSA events
