Clean Buildings - Last Workshop and Survey
The last workshop for pre-rulemaking for the Clean Buildings legislation will be this Thursday, July 9 from 9am-12pm. This workshop will be a comprehensive review of the edits proposed to ASHRAE Standard 100 and of the proposed energy use intensity targets. More information, including WebEx login, can be found here

The WSU Energy Program is developing a support program for the Clean Buildings implementation, and has issued a survey for building owners and other stakeholders. Please review it here and pass to your networks. 
 
Building Code Implementation Extended
In response to the impacts from COVID-19 the State Building Code Council (SBCC) voted to further delay adoption of all 2018 codes until February 1st, 2021.
 
Energy Code TAG Recruitment
The State Building Code Council is looking for candidates to participate in the Technical Advisory Groups (TAG) for the 2021 building code update cycle, including the energy code updates. There are slots for different perspectives and expertise, outlined here.
