Q: I am in a BA degree programme currently, do I qualify to apply for this certificate programme?
A: Yes, anyone can take this programme regardless of prior education levels.
Q: What is the “certificate examination”?
A: It is a final examination that ensures you have learned the central concepts of the programme. The examination is a written response to core questions such as, “What is anxiety?” It is three (3) hours in length. You may use notes, books, articles, and the lecture recordings to help you compose your responses so long as you cite your sources. It is graded “pass/fail”. You may retake the examination if necessary. The cost of a retake examination is 100€.
Q: I have a learning disability. Do you offer accommodation?
A: Yes, we can allow more time for you to take the examination if you qualify.
Q: If I can’t make the live lecture/discussion sessions may I still complete the programme?
A: Yes, so long as you view the recorded materials and make a good effort to attend the live sessions.
Q: Can I take more than four (4) courses?
A: Yes, you may take as many courses as you like in this programme for up to 1 year (i.e., until October 2022).
Q: If I’m a monthly subscriber can I take these courses?
A: Yes, however, in order for you to receive a certificate, you must successfully pass the Psychoanalysis examination, which will cost 689€.
Q: What happens if I take a course separately, just to try it out and I want to enroll in the certificate programme.
A: We will credit you the cost of the course (up to 200€) once you enroll in the certificate programme.
Q: What happens if it takes me longer than a year to complete?
A: You may continue beyond 1 year (i.e., October 2022) for a fee of 400€ for the next year (i.e., until October 2023).
