Our Own Organic Carrots and Kale

We have a crop of delightfully dainty carrots that are available for bulk purchase.  These are perfect for slicing length-wise and roasting whole! These have been hit by frost so they are extra sweet.  Price is $2 per pound, or $1.60 per pound for 25 pounds ($40 for each $25 lb bag)

We also have loose/topped frost-sweetened kale - $2 per pound for orders of 5 pounds or more. These should be processed for winter quickly!

Please email us with your order and we will arrange a pick-up time. Cash or check only for bulk orders please.

Honey Roasted Carrots

  • Makes 4-6 servings
  • 2 pounds carrots
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Fresh herbs like parsley, thyme, or rosemary - chopped
  • Sesame and flax seeds or toasted nuts (optional)
  1. Preheat the oven to 425F (220C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease.
  2. Scrub and cut the carrots in half lengthwise into similar sized pieces - no need to peel.
  3. Place the carrots into a large bowl. Add salt, pepper, cumin, olive oil and honey and toss to coat.
  4. Spread the carrots  into a single layer into the prepared baking sheet and roast for about 25-30 minutes until tender.
  5. Sprinkle chopped fresh herbs, sesame and flax seeds or toasted nuts. Serve while still warm. Enjoy!
Honey roasted carrots can be adapted in many ways - one of Britt's favorite adaptations is to mix sriracha into the honey mixture!
