Dear friends,
Merry Christmas to you and your families.
I hope this Christmas was full of connection and time spent with those you may not have been able to see over these past two years.
As we entered to new year I would like to share with you about what happened in 2021 for me and Journey Lithuania.

Along with many other countries, we continued to run our programs throughout the year.  We also took up the challenge to organize our first online fundraiser and were able to raise 8000 Euros. We are so grateful that the Lord blessed us through this event. Thank you to everyone who was part of it.

Below are couple of pictures of the backstage of the online fundraiser .
Due to the funds were raised, we were able to invite two members of our team, Lilijana and Valdemar, to consider working for Journey Lithuania and offer to pay their salary for four months. During these first months they will be fundraising their salaries.
I am excited about this and also a little scared. It feels like I got used to working on my own and it is a new experience having colleagues. Please remember me in your prayers, that the Lord would grant me His wisdom in this new chapter. Pray also for Lilijana and Valdemar as they begin fundraising.
This past summer, we unfortunately had to cancel our Intensive Week. We spent the time instead as a team growing together.
Thankfully, in October, we were finally able hold an Intensive Week for the first time since the beginning of Covid-19. It was incredibly encouraging to have team members come from the USA, Canada, and Europe. They were brave to risk traveling so far away from home.
Our time together was sweet and deep as all of us were able to experience God’s abundant love. Some of the testimonies coming out of our week together were:
“It was the best retreat I’ve ever attended.”
“I experienced the Holy Spirit working in every minute, even when I was resting. Jesus was speaking to me through pictures, that was very surprising to me.”
“After the Intensive Week, I experienced a lot of peace and a desire to know God even more.”
In the autumn, we started a hybrid Journey Discipleship Course; some people met live while others of us met over Zoom. It was a relief to be able to get back to some normality and run a program.

We also started a Journey 101 pilot program in a new city. We had around 10 team members traveling one Saturday every month to serve. There we experienced wonderful fellowship and Jesus’ presence among us.
Our aim for next year is to give seminars in other cities so that more and more people would meet Jesus through the ministry of Journey Lithuania.
This past year has felt quite short given that Covid-19 restricted much of our lives. It feels as if I’ve missed out on something, although I’m not quite sure what. I am praying for myself and for all of us that this next year we would be able to embrace life and the opportunities God will send our way. Let our lives be truly full of LIFE.

“In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.” (John 1:4)
May His light shine in our everyday life, and may 2021 be a year of breakthrough!

Lots of love,
Jacinta
