 Police investigate threat to North Shore Country Day School
This morning at 9:12, our police dispatch center received a call placed to a non-emergency line making a direct threat toward the safety of North Shore Country Day School. Police responded immediately to North Shore Country Day School’s campus and performed a thorough search. Our initial investigation concluded that there was no credible threat to the school. We are also aware of a similar threatening message conveyed around the same time directed toward an institution located in another suburb.
The Police Department has been working closely with North Shore Country Day School staff on all aspects regarding this matter, and as a result of this incident, there will be an increased police presence at all area schools.
The incident remains under investigation.
