Sunday Message: Reflection & Recommitment
by Rev. Amani Malaika
Special Music with the Amazing ABQ CSL Players

Kwanzaa is a people-focused, environmentally caring, and morally concerned holiday dedicated to cultivating, harvesting, and sharing good in the world.
--Dr. Maulana Karenga, professor and creator of Kwanzaa

In our final Sunday service of 2019, we will look to the principles of Kwanzaa to reflect on where we are in this moment in our lives and where we want to go in 2020.

Join us this Sunday as we reflect on the past year and recommit ourselves to the good we want to be and bring to the world.

New Year's Eve Service

Labyrinth Building, Tuesday, December 31, 6:30 PM

Path to Financial Wellness
Alex Rodgers, Rev. Amani's brother, is once again offering a free workshop for members of the ABQ CSL community. Participants can expect to feel a better relationship to money and start to actually believe in a plan of action to achieve their financial goals. In addition, participants will feel far more educated about how credit works and how to start saving toward short- and long-term goals. And for those who want an in-depth analysis, there will be an opportunity to sign up for individual help at a discounted rate.
Saturday, January 4, 1:00 to 4:00 PM

Intentions Setting Retreat 2020
Renewed Perspective for New Possibility

Rev. Amanda Ganley and Rev. Amani Malaika will kick off 2020 with a powerful, prayerful, and probably a little butt-kicking experience to connect with our hearts' wisdom and undo what must be undone to make way for what is longing to blossom in our lives. Join us in curating meaning, possibility, and action to create the experiences we want to be having. The tenets of Communion, Connection, Compassion, Community, and Challenge will be integral parts of creating the lives we want to be living. We will focus on these 5 C's as we cast our visions for 2020. We will use song, meditation, guided exercises, and group discussion to help us sharpen our vision, connect with our divine inner knowing, and launch us into soul quenching experiences of love, health, financial abundance, social change, and more!

Friday, January 10 6:00 to 9:00 PM Renewal Meditation. Free for committed givers; love offering for all others. Register here.

Saturday January 11 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Get Clear and Get On with It! $50 (no one will be turned away for lack of funds). Lunch on Saturday available to pre-order for additional $10 (or bring your own if you prefer)  Register here.
