Sunday Message: All the Way
with Rev. Amani Malaika
Special Music with Robert Muller

We do well to listen to this inner voice, for it tells us of a life wonderful in its scope; of a love beyond our fondest dreams; of a freedom which the soul craves. --Ernest Holmes

The stories of Passover and Easter are rich with wisdom. This week, the Jews celebrate and remember their liberation from Egypt, and Christians celebrate and observe the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. let us look to these traditions for some wisdom on how we can prayerfully and bravely walk toward freedom in the midst of crisis.

Join us online this Sunday in our virtual sanctuary to claim our absolute freedom!

  • As a result of the pandemic, is there something in your life that has fallen away that you are grateful to have gone?
  • Are there things falling apart in your life right now that feel hard to let fall apart?

A Message from the Social Uplift Ministry

As you may have heard, the novel coronavirus pandemic is spreading throughout the Navajo Nation. Your Social Uplift Ministry offers a way to uplift our Navajo neighbors, 30% of whom do not have running water in their homes. Native Americans are 19 times more likely than a white household to not have clean, running water. One of the nonprofit DigDeep's projects is to help hundreds of Navajo families across NM, AZ, and UT get hooked up to a clean water supply. Notably, this nonprofit puts 100% of donations to work in the field. They also offer many other non-monetary ways to offer support. Click here to explore all the options.

Brought to you by the ABQ CSL Social Uplift Ministry, which engages with challenges facing our Albuquerque and New Mexico community from a spiritually grounded and motivated perspective. We partner with other faith communities and community organizations to be Love in Action. We embody the loving-kindness and the givingness of life to all and commit to creating a world that works for everyone.

If you would like to find out more about the Social Uplift Ministry, contact Lisa Crawley via email.
