The Classical Connection - News and updates from Ambassador Christian Academy - Toms River, NJ

God has given His unquestionable endorsement on ACA and continues to direct our future. In every area, the Lord has designed the success of Ambassador including students and families, staff, supporters, and facilities.

Ambassador has enjoyed its current location with New Life for years. Recently though, we learned that there were plans to sell the facilities, which created uncertainty as to our future. Many have contacted us with ideas and concerns about a home for ACA, for which we are thankful. After much consideration and legwork, God has placed us in a perfect facility at Grace Bible Church. The facilities include a separate education building with ample classrooms, fully equipped science lab, library, lockers for students, gymnasium building (with additional classrooms), gym to rival any H.S., locker rooms, stage for productions, ballfield, that is of minor league baseball proportions, secure outside play areas, and a large sanctuary (ideal for opening exercises), musical productions, and events.

There is opportunity for significant growth at the new campus, providing excellent options for athletics, events, and extra-curricular activities, for which we have long desired. In short, the ACA Board and our GBC partners feel this is a win-win situation.

As with any move, there are many details to be organized. To stay up to date, please bookmark this page on our website, which will be updated regularly with all information move-related. Announcements regarding tours, open houses, FAQ, special events, etc. will be posted here.

High School Students in class

High School attended re:act 2018 Training in November

Our high school students spent two days at the re:act National High School Leadership Conference, November 18-20, in Washington, DC. Students were immersed in two-days of worship, biblical teaching, and summer camp-style fun, all for the purpose of learning to impact their school, community and culture for Christ.

Middle School Retreat at America's Keswick

Our middle school students spent 3 days at Keswick enjoying God’s creation and learning about it, receiving lessons from God’s Word, and having a lot of fun! Relationships among the students were strengthened, and students were encouraged to connect with God and grow in their faith. Here are a few photos from the retreat. Enjoy!

Pumkpin Pickin' Pre-Kindergarteners

Perhaps the cutest sight you'll see this fall is that of preschoolers getting to pick pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. Our Pre-K class enjoyed a day at Atlantic Farms where they got up close and personal with the petting farm animals, enjoyed a hayride, and picked the perfect pumpkin for fall season. Thank you to all the families that supported the trip and attended with us!

Grandparents Day a Success

We are so thankful for all the grandparents, relatives, and friends that joined us for our annual "Bring Your Grandparents to School Day." It was an honor to have almost 100 guests at our school to enjoy chapel service and a morning of fun activities. We look forward to next year!

K-3 Trip to Longstreet Farm Group Photo

Trip to Longstreet Farm

Kindergarten through 3rd grade students took in the sounds, sights and smells of rural life in the 1890's at Historic Longstreet Farm in Holmdel. Longsteet Farm is a 19th century living history farm where students participated in guided tours of the farm, caring for and feeding the animals, and learning about farm chores and life.

Visionary Champions - Investing in Education for the Next Generation

See what was in the news for 2018

  • Crowd of Watchung Hills parents debate 'sexually explicit' novel's place in the classroom
  • Egg Harbor Township school board member accused of sexual harassment in lawsuit
  • Drag Queen Story Hour … reading stories to children in libraries, schools, and bookstore
These are not the schools you grew up in. Today’s school environment is vastly different from even just 10 years ago. Our children are being bombarded with conflicting messages. Our culture is pulling harder and in a direction contrary to biblical principles.

It’s time to fight back. The Bible teaches that we are to make provision for the next generation, and that our treasures should not be invested in earthly endeavors, but rather eternal ones.

But, we need your help. Many parents are challenged with providing their children an excellent but affordable Christ-centered education.

Ambassador Christian Academy is the solution.

The Ambassador Christian Academy experience is transformational. We are not just a school; we are a ministry. Our vision is to transform our world by transforming the lives of our students through academic excellence and sound biblical teaching. We exist to impact our future leadership by helping them lay a solid foundation for their lives today.

Every contribution you make gives more children access to a classical, Christian education that will impact them for the rest of their lives.
