There may be a chill in the air, but there’s certainly a glow in our hearts when we look back at the past year! Between The Great Trail Treasure Hunt, numerous Trail improvement projects, fun meet-ups and a Nature Inspiration Award, we’re really proud of our achievements, and humbled that so many Canadians have supported them through financial giving and volunteerism.

But we know that there are still so many projects and initiatives to support in 2020. That’s why I’d like to share five different ways your donation will make a difference to The Great Trail of Canada. The cherry on top? Valerie Pringle and Ian Pearce of the TCT Foundation Board will match your gift, up to $40,000!

And as I scan the skies for Santa Claus and his sleigh, I’m also checking out an equally magical phenomenon: the northern lights. You can find out where you can see them in the article below.

Wherever you find yourself this holiday season, everyone at Trans Canada Trail wishes you and your family the best for the new year!
