Our very own MOBC Brickman will be there to judge who is the best builder at MOBC Youth.

Christmas In July

The Friendship group invites you to join them at Karimbla Restaurant, Miranda for a Christmas in July lunch. Transport from church at 11.10am or meet at the restaurant 11.40am. Tickets $20 payable on the day.

Women's Event - 'Ministry of Food'

Saturday 10 September, 2-4pm

Join our next MOBC Women's event as we celebrate food, glorious food!

We will learn about food, nutrition, and the power of giving or receiving a meal.

We also invite you to be a part of history as we create the 2022 MOBC Women's Cookbook! Share your most-loved recipes and the story behind them. You can submit your recipes via the link below, or in person at the church office before 19 August.

Together we raised $604.95 at the Soup & Bread lunch last week.

A big shout out to all of the wonderful people who supplied all the hearty soups, the volunteers who helped on the day and of course all those who bought a bowl, thank you.

All proceeds will support our sponsored children Srabon & Fiona.

Our Resource Room has just had a full stock take and now all of our titles are listed in online catalogue. Take some time to check it out. Thank you to Carole Yates and Michelle Cartwright for their efforts in completing this task.

Growth Groups

Growth Groups are small groups of 8-12 people who get together to study the Bible, encourage one another in the Christian faith, and pray. All Growth Groups are back meeting together for Term 3.

Volunteers needed any time, any day!

Volunteers are still needed to get lots of jobs finished. Any time you can give would be appreciated. There a small jobs and big jobs to complete, no experience necessary, just a the willingness to turn up and lend a hand. Mid week or weekends, contact Ian Swane 0418 867 112.

May Mission Month Update

The total amount raised and sent to Baptist Mission Australia was an amazing $26,400 to be distributed as follows:

$8,178 - Mel (K People Silk Rd)
$8,178 - Creation Care SE Asia
$5,022 - Margaret (Ethnic Thai)
$5,022 - Yawo Bible Translation

Margaret has now reach 100% of her required support and is preparing to leave for Thailand on 1 September.
Mel says she’s blown away by our generosity. She would like to thank the whole MOBC community for our partnership with her.

Service of Thanksgiving Gerry Ball

A service of Thanksgiving for Gerry Ball will be held here in the MOBC Chapel on Tuesday 26 July at 10am. You are warmly invited to celebrate the life of Gerry with his family and friends.
