"Spotify is paving the way in democratizing music, and in that process, some ethical constituents are more troubling and speculative than others.”

Kaira Villanueva is a senior at Columbia University focusing on the intersection of human experience and computer interfaces. She works on designing and engineering systems that enable healthy user experiences and is an advocate for inclusive technology. In her latest essay, she shares her thoughts on the ethics behind democratizing music.
