July News from Sande School of Horsemanship!

Hello Friends of Sande,

I hope you all are enjoying a wonderful summer so far! We are having so much fun working with all of our summer camp kiddos and hope to see others back in the lesson program this Fall.

Sande School of Horsemanship has been presented with some exciting opportunities over the past months helping us expand our nonprofit services to youth and families facing risk factors in Columbia County.  After much deliberation, we have decided to put the Boot Scootin' Benefit on hold until next year. This past year has been an exciting time of growth with the addition of ADA amenities and grants helping us to expand our reach. Sande staff needs to focus our time and energy on meeting the needs of our underserved community members through these strategic partnership opportunities.

Sande will bring back the Boot Scootin' Benefit in Fall 2020 and we hope you will join us for some family-friendly fun! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you so much for your support!

Best wishes,

Kassi Euwer

Executive Director, Sande School of Horsemanship

Members of Sande's Barn Buddy Youth Leadership Program grew so much in their knowledge of horsemanship and horseback riding over the past year! They put in many hours of hard work around the barn and bonded as a group during Free Ride Fridays. At the start of summer, we capped off our Youth Leader Training Camp with a beach ride at Dibblee Beach in Rainier. It was a blast!

This summer, our Youth Leaders are supporting Sande's summer camp program by participating as Assistant Instructors. We are incredibly proud of their dedication and it is fun to watch them teaching the younger kiddos. THANK YOU, YOUTH LEADERS!
Thank you so much to our longtime supporter, Dan MacDougall, and his incredible colleagues at Intel!
This crew came out for an evening of hard work for their team's quarterly team-building activity to put some finishing touches on Sande's ADA Accessible classroom.
Intel makes a donation to Sande for each hour employees volunteer, so in addition to all the work completed by the team, Sande will receive a financial contribution for the volunteer hours! Thank you to Intel for your continued support!

Sande's 4-H Club, Mane Attraction, will be showing off their skills at the Columbia County Fair next week! These young ladies, their leaders and parents have been working hard to prepare and we cannot wait to cheer them on. Check out the 2019 Fair Schedule and make sure to show your support for Mane Attraction!

Sande is hosting several more fun summer camps through the end of August! If you have already participated in a camp this summer or are registering more than one child, you are eligible for a 10% discount. Each camp includes horseback riding lessons, horsemanship activities, games, crafts and more!
