Dear Holy Cross Families,

October has been a busy month! Thank you to everyone who has been involved, finding time to practice with the students, gather microphones and speakers, and create headbands and other decorations. This has truly been a group effort and it was great to see the fruits of our labor on Sunday! Click (and follow us!) on our Facebook page here to see coverage of Sunday’s performance and check out WNDU’s coverage here.

Thank you, also, to everyone who made this past Friday's Halloween celebration so wonderful. The pumpkin patch for our youngest students, the decorations outside, the pumpkin decorating contest for our oldest students...it was a huge success! And it would not have been possible without a lot of "behind the scenes" help, getting everything ready beforehand. Click Here for a short clip.

We begin this month of November celebrating All Saints Day and All Souls Day, praying for and remembering the lives of those who have gone before us.  We will spend each November morning praying a litany of saints, naming the many saints that our eighth graders chose to study as they prepared for Confirmation and that our fourth graders chose for their All Saints Day projects.

Have a great week!

Queridas familias,

It’s wonderful to hear the prayers and hymns filling the church more fully with greater attendance at the Masses these past couple of months. If there are parishioner friends who have not yet returned to Sunday Mass, perhaps you would invite them to join you for Mass next weekend. That would be a nice gesture of care for them on your part, which I’m sure they would appreciate as a sign of your friendship as well as concern for their spiritual well-being.
