POSTPONED
If you saw an item in the March Mawnan Diary that we were planning to hold the next public steering group meeting on Monday 23 March, we are sorry to tell you that in current circumstances it is wiser to postpone it to a future date. It is felt that we need to take every step we can to protect our community from Covid-19, and not least because of the age profile across the parish.
It was to have been a very special evening, and was scheduled to include a presentation from Cornwall’s AONB unit, and their contractors Golden Tree Productions, on a project, celebrating 60 years of the AONB. Golden Tree Productions, the team behind Cornwall’s famous Man Engine, are planning to create the world’s largest labyrinth that they hope will last for 4,000 years, 56 meters in diameter, on Bodmin Moor, in different styles of Cornish hedges from all 12 of Cornwall’s Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
If you were hoping to attend, we promise to give you plenty of notice for the next time we feel able to re-schedule.
