What's Happening

AEPC Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

You have just a few more days to turn in your donations for our annual Thanksgiving Food Baskets! Paper bags with suggested donations are available at the church, but all donations are welcome, and we can also use toiletries, paper goods, laundry detergent, etc… We are also looking for donations of turkeys, and other proteins. Perishable donations can be dropped off by noon on Saturday, November 20. If you are unable to shop and would like to make a donation, you can mark it Thanksgiving Food Drive and drop it in the collection plate this Sunday or donate via our online giving app from CCB

If you are aware of someone in need, please contact Peg Buckley (609-647-4647), or any deacon or elder, so we can add them to our Food Basket list. Thank you so much for your generosity and willingness to live and share your faith in this tangible way. 

Congregational Meeting

Join us this Sunday, November 21 for a brief congregational meeting immediately following services to learn more about the joining of Park Avenue and Ashland. All are welcome to come to this informational meeting about the plans for Ashland and Park Ave to join together.

Thanksgiving Eve Service

Mark your calendars and make plans to join us on Wednesday, November 24 for our Thanksgiving potluck at 6 pm with with a Thanksgiving service to follow at 7. Ashland will provide the turkeys; please bring sides and desserts to share. There will be both indoor and outdoor seating available. We will plan to livestream the service and have it also playing in livestream rooms onsite.

African Book Challenge Turkey Trot

This month let's take an unofficial turkey trot and do some moving for ABC! Take a run, walk, ride, whatever you want and make a donation and/or ask your friends to support ABC with you. Donations can be made HERE.

New Class: Keeping Hope Alive In the Wilderness Journey

Join John Tait and Greg Goss at 9am each Sunday as they teach this class on the book of Numbers and journey with Israel from freedom into nationhood.

Clothing, Bag, Linen & Shoe Drive

Help support the Ashland youth retreats and missions by dropping off your donations of clothing, bags, linens and shoes now through November 28.

Open Art Studio

Thanks to those who joined us for our last Open Art Studio! Our next meeting time will be Tuesday, November 23. No experience needed! Beginners welcome! Come create with us!

Tuesday Morning Bible Study

CORRECTION: The Tuesday Morning Bible study will NOT meeting the fourth Tuesday, but rather on the fifth Tuesday, November 30.

Fellowship and Coffee

If you would like to help with the Sunday morning Fellowship and Coffee time, either by donating items like individually wrapped snacks, fresh fruit, and individual yogurts, or by helping to coordinate setting up the fellowship time, please contact Peg Buckley. Donations and help are both needed beginning in September.

Pizza & Service Project

On Sunday, November 21 the youth group will meet right after church to eat pizza and sort the Thanksgiving baskets.

Youth Small Groups

If you’re 5th grade to high school student is interested in joining one please contact Janine.

Kids Church

Kids Church is each Sunday during the sermon. We can't wait to see you there!

Children’s Zoom Sunday School

Don't miss out if you can't be there in person! Each Sunday at 9:30 am, you can join our Zoom for Sunday School. Contact Janine for the Zoom ID and password.

Connect & Serve

Care and Counsel

The Care and Counsel ministry is here to help with things developing a healthy life balance, navigating mental health difficulties, finding professional assistance and more. All services are free of charge and provided by a trained Mental Health Coach (more information here). For more information about meeting with a coach, please email (all inquiries will be kept confidential).

Park Avenue Food Pantry

Food donations can be dropped off at the church, and volunteers are needed on Thursday mornings to deliver the items to Park Avenue Church in Somerdale. Contact Janine for more information.

Small Groups

Small groups have a big impact on all involved. For information about joining or leading a group contact us here.

Communion Sunday

Communion is served the first Sunday of every month. Our next Communion Sunday will be December 5.

Sunday Morning Volunteers Needed

We need volunteers to help set up for the outdoor service on Sunday mornings, as well as for other worship service functions. If you can help, please let Peg Buckley or Barb Cesare know.
