Pastor Cupschalk mentioned a couple of different resources in his sermon. For the article by T. M. Moore called The Discipline of Solitude, click here. (There is an audio option as well!)

If you would like the information from Lorne Sanny on how to spend your own day of prayer, please email the church office, and we will be glad to send that to you.

What's Happening

COVID Update

Amid the current surge of COVID cases we want to continue together to care for our church family and help folks feel comfortable, as well pray and ask for God’s protection and healing during this time. We have placed a few simple air cleaners in Horner Hall and some other rooms to help cycle in fresh air. Additionally, we continue to ask everyone to wear a mask at all times when inside the building (unless presenting or helping to lead worship).

Blessing Bags Service Project

On Sunday, February 20 after the worship service, we will meet in Horner Hall and assemble the Blessing Bags for our neighbors without homes using the donations from the list above. All ages encouraged to participate!

Used Laptops and Mobile Phones Needed

ABC needs used laptops and mobile phones for ABC scholars who are currently attending Teaching Training College, Nursing Training College and University in Ghana. All donations are to be dropped off in the main office at church, or call Fred Acheampong (856-534-9565) to have them picked up from your home.

Young Adult Small Groups

Our Young Adult Small Groups meet on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. Take advantage of this opportunity to connect!

Bible Class: Keeping Hope Alive In the Wilderness Journey

Join John Tait and Greg Goss at 9am each Sunday as they teach this class on the book of Numbers and journey with Israel from freedom into nationhood.

Tuesday Morning Bible Study

Children & Youth

Please Donate!

We will collect clothing, shoes, linens (any fabric items) and bags through the end of February. All donations benefit Ashland Youth Retreats and Missions. We receive money by the pound and have many service projects in the work and hope to return to retreats this year. Thank you for supporting Ashland Youth!

Youth Small Groups

Our small groups will continue meeting together at the church building at 6:30 pm on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays at 6:30 pm.

Kids Church

Kids Church is each Sunday during the sermon. Join us in person for mixed-age Bible lessons and crafts. We can't wait to see you there!

Children’s Zoom Sunday School

Don't miss out if you can't be there in person! Each Sunday at 9:30 am, you can join our Zoom for Sunday School. Contact Janine for the Zoom ID and password.

Connect & Serve

Care and Counsel

The Care and Counsel ministry is here to help with things developing a healthy life balance, navigating mental health difficulties, finding professional assistance and more.

Teleconference appointments are available. Our coaches welcome adults, young adults, teens and children. All services are free of charge and provided by a trained Mental Health Coach (more information here).

For more information about meeting with a coach, please email care@ashlandchurch.org (all inquiries will be kept confidential).

Fellowship and Coffee

If you would like to help with the Sunday morning Fellowship and Coffee time, either by donating items like individually wrapped snacks, fresh fruit, and individual yogurts, or by helping to coordinate setting up the fellowship time, please contact Peg Buckley. Donations and help are both needed beginning in September.
