Ramadan Kareem from the MCSS family to yours! May Allah accept all your deeds and ibadat! Ameen.

Did you know that MCSS spent $160,000 in 2019 on our clients alone? For every dollar you donate, 94 cents goes towards bettering the lives of refugees, domestic violence survivors and impoverished families.

This year we will need to raise much more to help the families impacted by the pandemic.

Our Ramadan fundraising is crucial to keeping our clients fed and sheltered this year. Our ask is that you consider donating your zakat to MCSS this year.

Help us continue supporting and working for families in need.

Covid Response Update:

These are hard and uncertain times for families in American and around the world. While some of us are lucky enough to be quarantined with our families at home with plenty of food, there are families without the security of food and shelter.

Many of the families impacted are clients of MCSS, some have lost their jobs, have reduced hours, or are unable to return to work because they must stay home with their children. Allhumdolilah, MCSS is doing the best we can to help the families who need support.

Here is what we have done in the first two weeks of April:

Paid rent for 15 families
Helped families to apply for Unemployment Benefits
Helped our clients who don't automatically qualify for the stimulus check to file a simple tax return
Gave 51 families food vouchers to buy groceries
Bought diapers, cleaning supplies and general groceries for families
Paid utility bills for over 40 families with Plus 1 Funds

Every single day we are receiving multiple urgent calls and texts from current, previous and new clients for help. Thank you for supporting MCSS so that we can continue our work!
