We Have a Website - phnee.org!!
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our website - phnee.org.  You can find information about PHNEE, about our neighborhood elementary schools, the history of Park Hill, and more.  Please check it out and let us know what you think!

Huge thanks to the communications team for their hard work getting this off the ground, and to Campfire Digital for design and hosting services.

We PHNEE'd To Talk
Please join us for our next We PHNEE'd To Talk, at the Park Hill Library tomorrow, April 2nd, 6pm 8-pm.  We'll be discussing standardized tests - how they are designed, how they are used and some of the issues they create.  We'll also talk about alternative methods of school accountability.  Click here to RSVP so we know how many people to expect.
What we're reading:
  • An article from Erin Pier on PHNEE's policy committee work in this month's GPHN.  (link not yet available)
  • An article from City Lab on the ways privilege gets concentrated in affluent neighborhoods.
  • An article from Aeon on the problems with metrics - this is very relevant to the question of school accountability.
  • A video from Linda Darling-Hammond speak to Colorado Education Initiative on school accountability.
