We hope you've arrived back as refreshed and reenergized as we are after spending some time away for spring break. While we're forever in love with this city, it's always great to explore somewhere new and return in a fresh headspace. You all know the market has been exceptionally busy with the decrease in COVID restrictions and we, along with our clients, are gearing up for our best year yet.

Never ones to rest on our laurels, in addition to our team earning a spot among Corcoran's Platinum Council and Multimillion-Dollar Club for 2020, it was recently announced that Corcoran is the number one brokerage in New York City! We outsold our closest competitor by $2 billion in 2020, a feat that is especially admirable given what 2020 had planned for everyone. We're thrilled to be part of the Corcoran family.

April seems to be a month of great news as it was determined the Pied-a-terre tax anticipated to be placed on New York City homeowners was not passed as part of the New York State budget. This has saved jobs from disappearing across multiple industries and still helps to solidify that NYC is a place where people want to live. 

We always try to end the month on a high note and this is no different. Between the various STARR Restaurants beginning to operate in all their glory, new exhibitions at The Met and Frieze at The Shed, and eating our way through NYC's most instagrammable eateries, this spring is sure to be one for the books.
