How Did I Arrive Here and How Am I Now?
Hosted by Karen Gierlach
and sponsored by The Faust Branch

Prompted by artistic exercises done off-screen, we will seek to strengthen community through biographical exchanges in small groups via Zoom. The topic will be explored in an open-hearted and confidential way, through listening to each other with deep interest.
"To contemplate the destinies of human beings with reverence and awe - that is something that our times demand of us."  Rudolf Steiner
Short-term housing:
After these past two and a half months of having to remain on the East coast following the cancellations of my teaching commitments in NY and PA, I am now looking at finally returning to Fair Oaks on June 7 till approximately the end of the month to take care of things (and see people!). Who would have - or know someone who has - a guest room/studio that I could rent? Ideally in/near Fair Oaks, but further away is also fine. Helen Lubin

Awakening to Community
Lecture VI Stuttgart, Feb 27, 1923, Rudolf Steiner

When you have discovered the possibility that human souls wake up in the encounter with human souls, and human spirits wake up in the encounter with human spirits, and go to anthroposophical groups with a living awareness that only now have you come awake and only now begin to grow together into an understanding of anthroposophy, and on the basis of that understanding take anthroposophical ideas into an awakened soul rather than into an everyday soul asleep to higher things, then the true spirit of community descends upon the place where you are working….We are firmly grounded in our understanding of things of the spirit only when we do not rest content with abstract spiritual concepts and a capacity to express them theoretically, but instead grow into a sure belief that higher beings are present with us in a community of spirit when we engage in spiritual study. p.100
Dear Friends,
Several Anthroposophical Doctors in our area and further afield are facing or have faced board reviews. I invite you to join me in holding thoughts for the highest good for all in these events. Upcoming is Dr Sutton's on May 27 at 10 am. Warm regards, Sandra
