Jumpstart thanks healthcare workers!

Students from the Mizzou Jumpstart AmeriCorps program found a way to express their gratitude to frontline heroes during this pandemic. Students wrote over 200 gratitude letters to put in the hands of health care and education workers who continue to sacrifice so much day after day for the good of our community.  Letters were presented to University Hospital leadership and are being shared with employees in the Medical Intensive Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, Psychiatric Center, and Women’s & Children’s Hospital.  Columbia Public Schools served as the recipient of letters to education heroes, specifically the staff and teachers of the Early Childhood Preschool program.
The MU Career Center is open through finals week (December 14-18). We close over the holidays and re-open Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Students may drop-in to our Zoom room between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM or schedule an appointment on MU Connect.  Details can be found on our Connect With Our Staff web page.
