Supporting Graduating Seniors
Please remind December graduates that career services will continue to support them after they leave campus! Alumni have access to all of our online career resources as well as free access to the Handshake employment website. Career Services staff will also consult with recent graduates (up to one year after graduation) if they are uncertain about their post grad plans or struggling with their transition.

Career services wants to celebrate the achievements of our graduates and carefully tracks where they are headed after graduation. Please encourage fall grads to complete the brief (3-minute) Outcomes Survey to tell our story of student success!

Spring Assignments and Presentations
If you are interested in having the MU Career Center provide a presentation for your class or would like your students to complete a career assignment, please complete an online request form.
We ask that you please give us at least two weeks’ notice for all requests and be as flexible as possible with your presentation and assignment due dates. We are happy to discuss learning outcomes and how to best engage students.
And don't forget that instructors have access to downloadable career lesson plans, videos, and other teaching resources on the faculty and staff page of Mizzou Career Tools.

Student Employment Event
Encourage students seeking campus employment to stop by the MU Career Center, lower level of the Student Success Center, on Thursday, January 19 between 10am-12pm. There will be cocoa, tea, and sweet treats to enjoy while networking with campus partners who are hiring for the spring semester. Casual dress is appropriate for this event, and students are encouraged to bring a resume and class schedule.
Are you hiring? Campus employer registration will remain open until Tuesday, January 3rd or until all spaces have been filled. Register online!
