Pegasus Farm Campground
in Elkins, WV
Howdy campers! 

Some big news for today, including an Update to the Constellation COVID-19 Policy and Lightning Round ticket announcement! 

The update to the COVID-19 Policy is in regards to newly-released bivalent booster

CDC guidance changed this week, therefore all attendees who are eligible for the updated bivalent booster will be required to get said booster before they are admitted to the event. 

At this time, we do not anticipate issues with availability of the updated bivalent booster, but please try to do this sooner rather than later to avoid any complications leading up to the event. 

In other news, registration for the Lightning Round of tickets + car passes opens today. Similar to the Main Sale, attendees will need to pre-register in order to be able to purchase a ticket. 

Available tickets will be raffled to those who register in the Lightning Round, same as the Main Sale. 

We do ask that only those who need to purchase tickets and/or a car pass for themselves register, so that we can get an accurate idea of demand and not dilute the lottery pool.

Don't forget to scroll down and check out the changes to Gate Hours!  It's a long drive, so plan ahead and don't miss the gate closure at 4pm Saturday

NEW: BIVALENT BOOSTER
REQUIRED IF ELIGIBLE


 
The Constellation 2022 COVID Policy has been revised based on the updated CDC Guidance published on 9/2/2022
 
TL;DR - Attendees who are eligible to receive the updated Bivalent booster must receive said booster in order to attend.

You are eligible for a Bivalent booster dose if you are:
 
12+ and it has been: 

2 months since your last dose of Pfizer or Moderna

(second dose, third dose, or booster dose) 
or 
2 months since your initial dose of Johnson & Johnson.


= Bivalent Booster Required

 
You are eligible for a monovalent (original) booster dose if you are:

5-11 years of age and it has been:

5 months after your last dose of Pfizer or Moderna (second dose or third dose if immunocompromised)


= Monovalent (original) booster required

According to the CDC, you are considered “up-to-date” immediately after you have received the most recent booster recommended for you, so you are able to get the updated bivalent booster any time prior to admission to the event. 

However, we HIGHLY encourage everyone to schedule their boosters ASAP in order to reduce any potential complications leading up to the event.

Participants will have 72 hours to purchase their tickets once the email goes out.
Notifications for Lightning Round ticket purchases begin Thursday September 15, 2022.

In order to register, you must provide your full, legal first and last name, email, and zip/postal code, as well as agree to the COVID-19 Policy. Please only register once per person; duplicate registrations will be deleted.

In the meantime, the PDF/Constellation Tickets and Rideshare Facebook group is a great place to transfer, buy, and sell tickets. Remember! Tickets are to be sold at face value only! Tickets sold over face value are invalidated and sellers are subject to a Conduct review

Constellation is a 100% volunteer-run event, and we rely on you to make the event run smoothly! 

Volunteering is a great way to provide a gift to the community and an incredible opportunity to participate and give back to the event. It is also the easiest and most-rewarding way to make new friends!

ICE SALES


 
Ice will be available for sale September 15 through September 29, 2022. 

You can pre-order 7-lb bags of ice for $4.00. Pick-up is available during designated times Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the event. 

You do not need to pick up all of your bags at once and ice can be transferred. 
MINOR TICKETS
 
While a minor (aged 13-17) can use an adult ticket, we sell special minor tickets that do not count towards the event cap or the purchase limit of 2 tickets + 1 car pass. 

Minor tickets are the same price as an adult ticket ($90) and are non-refundable and non-transferable! Minors aged 12 and under do not require tickets. 

Registration for minor tickets is not required and minor tickets will be on sale September 15 through September 29, 2022 at https://tickets.constellationburn.org/

Major changes to our Gate Hours for Constellation 2022:

*Carry-In Only after 8pm on Friday*
*No Entries after 4pm on Saturday*
*No Longer allowing In & Outs*
 
The Gate hours for Constellation 2022 are as follows:

Thursday, October 6: 12pm (noon) to 11:59pm (midnight)
Friday, October 7: 9am to 11:59pm (midnight)
Full access from 9am to 7:59pm
Carry-in only from 8pm to 11:59pm (midnight)

Saturday, October 8: 9am to 4pm, carry-in only
 
In & Outs will no longer be allowed at Constellation.
Exceptions will be provided for attendees to return in the event if they have to leave and seek medical care.


Arrivals after 8pm on Friday, October 7 or anytime on Saturday, October 8 prior to gate closure at 4pm will be directed to park your vehicle in the front parking lot and carry-in your belongings.

The Art Grant team is still looking for both an Effigy and Temple builder!

Applications for Art Grants for Constellation 2022 are now closed, and the Art Grant team held its first meeting last week to review your creative and exciting projects! However, we are still looking for both Effigy and a Temple builders.

If you have an idea but need help to make it a reality, please reach out to producer@constellationburn.org. We are happy to find and provide additional resources, as having both of these installations is an important part of our community and our event.

If you’re running a Tea House or Saloon out of your Theme Camp, looking to organize a kickball game or scavenger hunt, or want to stage roaming Shakespearean readings right after the Burn, let us know the details, and we’ll get the information printed in the Hitchhiker’s Guide so people will know what’s up and where to find you!
