We are so thrilled to see how much enthusiasm there is for Constellation 2022, from those of you who registered for Main Sale tickets in the first few minutes, to everyone who has stepped up to join the leadership team, and all of you taking the time to just open and read this newsletter. 

We’re excited to hear all about what you’re planning for this year and look forward to seeing your art grant applications, theme camp registrations, and event submissions! And we can’t wait to see *YOU* in less than 2 months!

Theme camps are groups who provide an interactive experience that builds the texture of our temporary city. Through the provision of activities, venues, and other participatory efforts, Theme Camps are the foundation that makes Constellation City come to life! 

The benefits to registering your Theme Camp include: 
  • A pre-approved space for your Camp on site
  • Automatic listing in the Hitchhiker’s Guide and on the site map so participants can easily find you camp 
  • The opportunity to apply for a Theme Camp art grant to subsidize your camp art/art making
  • The ability to apply for early entry if you need extra setup time!

We are super excited to see what you're bringing to Constellation! 

Theme Camp registrations and applications for placement close at 11:59pm (midnight) EST on Friday, August 26. 

Applications for RV & Car Camping Permits are now open! Constellation has a limited number of RV Permits (with and without hookups) and Car Camping Permits (for camping with your vehicle) available. 

Application approval depends on the amount of space available and will be prioritized based on demonstrated need. RV and Car Camping Permits WILL NOT be available at the Gate

There is an additional $30 fee for RV Permits with hookups; RV Permits without hookups and Car Camping permits are included in your ticket price.  

Note - All vehicles entering the site need a Car Pass, including anyone with an approved RV or Car Camping Permit.
Car Passes ARE NOT the same thing as the RV and Car Camping permits!

We are now accepting Event Submissions for the Hitchhiker’s Guide

If you have an event you would like to host at Constellation, whether it’s at a specific time or ongoing throughout the weekend, please submit the details through our Event Submission form

If you’re running a Tea House or Saloon out of your Theme Camp, looking to organize a kickball game or scavenger hunt, or want to stage roaming Shakespearean readings right after the Burn, let us know the details, and we’ll get the information printed in the Hitchhiker’s Guide so people will know what’s up and where to find you!

Event Submissions close at 11:59pm (midnight) EST Sunday, September 18 

Do you have an existing art project that you’d like to bring to Constellation? If the answer is yes, and you’d like to have your art placed by our City Planning team, please fill out the Art Placement form

The Art Placement form is for art projects NOT seeking an Art Grant. Art Grant applicants will be contacted by City Planning as part of the Art Grant process. 

A request for Art Placement in advance of the event is not required, but it helps our City Planning team ensure you get optimal placement for your project!. 

Art Placement requests are open through 11:59pm (midnight) EST on Friday, August 26.
Volunteering is an awesome way to participate, and we rely on our volunteers to help the event run smoothly!

Whether you are new to attending Constellation or a regional burn veteran, volunteering provides an opportunity to meet new people and help ensure stewardship of an event that keeps you coming back. 

We will be using Sign-Up Genius again and encourage everyone to sign up early, as some shifts fill up fast!

Volunteer sign-ups will go live at 12pm (noon) EST Monday, August 15 and close 11:59pm (midnight) EST on Thursday, September 29
Tickets for Constellation 2022 are $90.00

Pre-Registration for the Main Sale of tickets and car passes  is open!

You MUST pre-register for the Main Sale in order to purchase a ticket and/or car pass

In order to pre-register, you must agree to the COVID-19 Policy.

Aug 15 - Main Sale email notifications begin

The creativity we share is a huge part of what makes Constellation such a magical place!  We’re proud to offer art grants to help you fulfill your creative vision and contribute to creating community building experiences at the burn - we invite YOU to create something awesome!

Art Grant Applications will be accepted through 11:59pm (midnight) EST Friday, August 26. Grant applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and beginning at 11:59pm (midnight) EST Friday, August 19  funds will begin to be dispersed.
The COVID-19 policy for Constellation 2022 is that everyone who attends the event must be both fully vaccinated and up-to-date on their COVID-19 vaccination, based on CDC definitions as of September 8, 2022. This includes both adults and minors over the age of 6 months. More information on the policy, what it means, and why we chose it can be found on our website here: COVID-19 Policy

Community members can apply for Ticket Aid at either a 25% or 50% reduction of the regular $90.00 adult ticket price. If approved, you will receive a discount code valid in either the Main Sale or Lightning Round.
