The Northwest Passage in Story and Song
Inuit cultural performers Siqiniup Qilauta / Sunsdrum (Heidi Langille & Lynda Brown) bring a dynamic presence to the stage, sharing contemporary and traditional Inuit culture by way of throat-singing, drum-dancing and Arctic games. Photo: Six String Nation
Singer-songrwiter David Newland is an expedition host and Zodiac driver who has travelled widely through the Canadian Arctic, Labrador, Greenland, Iceland and the North Atlantic. Inspired by his journeys, his music explores the tension between fantasy and reality in the Canadian Arctic.
In anticipation of great interest for this performance, we moved the music concert to the main amphitheatre (instead of the usual, smaller venue in the Ferguson Hall). Rows A-K are full, now seating row L. Register now to reserve a good seat :)
