Anthotypes

Saturday, August 20th, 10a to noon
Blue Hill Community Garden on Tenney Hill

Create with Nature!

Anthotypes are an alternative photographic process using chlorophyll in plants to make light impressions on paper or fabric. Join the Blue Hill Heritage Trust, Garden Club and the Open Air Arts Initiative in the Community garden to 'draw with light' using a selection of native plants and vegetables from the garden. We will experiment with this non-toxic process that uses common household ingredients.

Learn how to make your own prints using beets, spinach and turmeric. Materials provided.

Short on time? Stop in anytime during the event to see the setup - it is easy to try at home!
