The Catholic Crusade is on Facebook and Instagram!  We start each morning posting a Daily Reflection, an inspiring biblical verse or saint quote to reflect and meditate on throughout your day. Our Daily Reflections are posted on both of the above-mentioned social media platforms every weekday.

SCAM ALERT: Sadly, we have been dealing with scammers creating YouTube channels using our "The Catholic Crusade" name and logo... pretending to be us... asking our viewers and supporters to send donations to an orphanage in Africa via a phone app. THIS IS A SCAM. Please be careful with who you send money to on the Internet. Verify all information before sending money to anyone who claims to be from a charitable organization.

We wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas!

Recent Prayers & Devotions
Immaculate Conception Novena

The Immaculate Conception Novena is traditionally prayed during the nine days preceding the Feast of the Immaculate Conception (December 8th), the feast day honoring the conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The novena begins on November 29th and continues to December 7th.
St. Andrew Christmas Novena

The St. Andrew Christmas Novena consists of a special prayer honoring the Birth of Jesus Christ that is prayed 15 times daily from November 30 (Feast of St Andrew) to December 24 (Christmas Eve) for a special intention.
Chaplet of Saint Gertrude
The Chaplet of Saint Gertrude is prayed using regular Rosary beads and begins with the same opening prayers as the Rosary. However, instead of praying the Hail Mary prayer on the 50 smaller beads, the St. Gertrude Prayer is prayed instead. It is said that Jesus appeared to Saint Gertrude with the promise of 1,000 souls being freed from Purgatory each time the St. Gertrude Prayer is prayed. Because the St. Gertrude Prayer is prayed 50 times in this chaplet, it would mean that 50,000 souls are released from Purgatory each time this chaplet is prayed with true devotion.
Novena to Christ The King
The Novena to Christ The King is a recommended prayer devotion to be prayed daily during the nine-day period leading up to the Feast of Christ The King. This novena, which honors Jesus Christ as the King of the Universe, and implores His mercy upon sinners from His Just Judgement, is a devotion that can be made during any time of the year.
Prayer for the Dying

A Prayer For The Dying is a petition to the Lord for mercy upon all those in the world those who will die on this day, as well as for any specific soul nearing death whom you wish to spiritually adopt and pray for.

Christmas Novena

This Christmas Novena was written by St. Alphonsus Maria de Liguori (1696-1787). The novena contains prayers and meditations for all nine days leading up to Christmas, starting on December 16th and finishing on December 24th.
Prayer for the New Year

A Prayer for the New Year is a Catholic prayer of blessing on the new year ahead for ourselves, our families, the Church, and the world. May the Lord brings blessings for the new year to you and your loved ones.
Prayer for Daily Neglects

The Prayer for Daily Neglects is a prayer offering the Sacred Heart of Jesus to the Eternal Father in reparation for our sins, faults and spiritual neglects. This prayer is often prayed daily prior to bedtime. An examination of conscience is also recommended prior to the prayer.

Total Consecration
Total Consecration to Jesus Through Mary

Have you consecrated yourself yet to Jesus through Mary?  The month of December offers an opportunity (December 31) to take the first step in consecrating yourself to Jesus through Mary as recommended by St. Louis de Montfort: the 33-Day Preparation prior to consecration.

This 33-day preparation, involving a daily series of readings and prayers prior to making your consecration, is a spiritually nourishing experience necessary to prepare you for consecration to Jesus through Mary.
