Have you consecrated yourself yet to Jesus through Mary? The month of August offers three (3) opportunities to take the first step in consecrating yourself to Jesus through Mary as recommended by St. Louis de Montfort: the 33-Day Preparation prior to consecration. The 33-Day Preparation begins on August 06, August 10, and August 13. See the poster down below for more information on this beautiful devotion.
In August, the Church celebrates The Transfiguration of the Lord (not a Holy Day of Obligation) and The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (typically a Holy Day of Obligation, but this year the feast day falls on a Sunday).
The Novena to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary begins this Friday, August 6th and continues for the nine days leading up to the Feast of the Assumption - August 15th. We have both the Novena Prayers and a Novena Prayer Video available for your convenience.

This 33-day preparation, involving a daily series of readings and prayers prior to making your consecration, is a spiritually nourishing experience necessary to prepare you for consecration to Jesus through Mary.
There are three (3) starts dates in the month of August for starting the 33-Day Preparation. The first start date is August 6th, which will lead you to your consecration on the feast of The Nativity of Mary (September 8th). The second start date is August 10th, for your consecration to fall on the feast of the Holy Name of Jesus (September 12). The third start is August 13th, which will lead to a consecration on the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows (September 15th). Click here for more information.
