Make an Impact on
Energy Efficiency Day!

All across the country, people are doing their share to celebrate EE Day in every way they can. ener-G-save is motivating municipalities to promote EE Day as a way for their community to work together to reduce energy use overall. Has your Select Board or Council, town manager or Mayor, declared October 2nd a day for collective commitment to energy efficiency? If not, ask them to! Renters and Landlords!

You know that homeowners can get no-cost home energy assessments, along with free sealing of cracks around doors and windows, LED light bulbs, and more. Plus huge reductions in cost of insulating your home so that you save lots of energy and money. Renters! Landlords! You can save too!

Renters, you can ask your landlord to call Mass Save and arrange for their property in which you live to be audited (you can forward this email to them if you wish). They will discover that much of the cost of insulating and improving the property will be covered by Mass Save, and they’ll also discover that you’ll be happier tenants, likely to stay longer in your space. Plus the value of their property will go up! 
 

So don’t be shy. Tell them that if their building is 1-4 rental units, they will receive :

• up to 90% off recommended insulation measures 

• no-cost targeted air sealing of leaks in drafty areas of your rental property

• the opportunity to apply for 0 percent HEAT Loan financing for eligible upgrades
