Hello ener-G-savers,
We here at ener-G-save want you to know that we’re thinking of you during these challenging times. If you are in the medical or essential services fields, we thank you for serving our communities. If you have difficulties obtaining food, be sure to reach out to your town or city hall and your
elected officials to learn what assistance might be available to you.
And if you have trouble paying your fuel bill right now, contact your Community Action Council under these links: Berkshire County, Hampden County, Hampshire and Franklin County. They are ready to help. And the good people at Co-op Power and Common Good set up this resource to connect and exchange services and help.
In the Berkshires, where two of us live, volunteers, towns and food banks are setting up meal deliveries to those who need it and we hope you too are finding yourself supported and safe.
We’re all in new territory just now. We trust you’re staying safe, listening to our officials about the latest guidelines to help prevent the spread of this virus. We’ll take a deep breath, reach out to one another (virtually, of course!) and do what we need to do.
To close, we are sharing this image of how much the air cleared over China since this pandemic began. It reminds us that, in the complexities of life, we cannot always see the unintended consequences of what is occurring right in front of us, sometimes for the better.
We at ener-G-save send our wishes for your health and well-being during this time.
Warmly,
All of us at ener-G-save
