WCDRT E-Newsletter - February 2018

What an exciting start to the new year!  Mahalo to those who were able to join us at our January workshop.  Lots of questions and concerns came out of the discussion following the events of January 13th.

But it didn't end there!  We had a close call on the night of January 22nd as well.  If you've been following the seismic activity coming from Alaska, they are still feeling consistent earthquakes similar to what brought about a tsunami watch here in Hawaii.

With all the recent activity affecting our state, now is as good a time as any to talk to your families: have a kit, make a plan, be informed, and get involved!  Visit WaianaeReady.com for useful tools, resources, links to expert sources, and more...

Happy Heart Month!

"The perfect gift this Valentine's Day is the gift of heart health.  Along with Valentine's Day, February marks American Heart Month, a great time to commit to a healthy lifestyle and make small changes that can lead to a lifetime of heart health."  - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
