Dear Avila Community,
This morning the Premier of Victoria made an announcement regarding an easing of restrictions from 11.59pm on Thursday 21 October. As a result, the staggered return to school plan will be brought forward.
Year 7 and Year 11 Students
From Friday 22 October, Year 7 and Year 11 students will return to school full time.
Year 8 and Year 9 Students
From Tuesday 26 October, Year 8 and Year 9 students will attend school onsite on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. At this stage, they are scheduled to return to school full time from Friday 5 November.
Year 10 Students
Year 10 students will attend school onsite on Friday 22 October. They will then attend school on Thursdays and Fridays, returning to school full time from Friday 5 November.
A number of other restrictions will be eased from 11.59pm on Thursday 21 October. You can read the details here.
We look forward to welcoming students back to school according to the staggered timeline. Face masks will need to be worn at school. More specific details about the return to school will be shared next week.
