News About Locks

☎︎ We are aware the Door King system is not working at the front door. The repair crew said the motherboard is fried and has ordered a new one, but it takes two weeks (like everything it seems these days). The back door works.

🔑 We've had two lockouts this month. As I've reminded you a zillion times in the past, we don't let you into your units. You will end up calling a locksmith. Please have a Plan B for when you lock yourself out. I'm not very nice about this on the phone when you call me with a problem you should never have had in the first place.

👮‍♂️ It appears somebody let a homeless woman into the building last week and she spent the night on our 12th floor. We are reviewing camera footage to determine how she got in. In the last three or four years, all of the unwanted people in the building have been let in by our residents. Again, do not let anybody into the building you do not personally know. It's not rude. It's the rules. If somebody won't open the door because they don't know you, thank them for helping protect you and your community.

Window Coverings

The board will vote next Thursday on new window covering rules. I am positive it will pass. Here is your advanced notice: If you have sheets in your windows, they must go. If you have towels in your windows, they must go. If you have blinds that are in disrepair, they must go.

All window coverings in the building will need to be in compliance by January 1, so you might want to consider if Santa can help you. Landlords, check with your tenants they aren't violating the exterior appearance rules. We've come a long way in improving our interior appearance over the last few months and we'll be moving forward quickly in 2020 to improve our exterior appearance.


Kitchen Access Panels

We are wrapping up work on the natural gas access panels in your kitchens. If you'd planned on having yours done, and haven't scheduled it yet, please call Joe in the office at 303-832-2188 this week. We won't be working on these anymore after the new year and it'll be on you to finish the job.



You may have noticed the lobby being repainted and the 12th floor hallway also being painted. Thanks Andy, Lenny and Frank for helping make us look our best. And thank you to the many volunteers who have lit up the lobby, the front yard, and the Ohana room with holiday cheer. Nice work everybody.
