Help Ensure the Future of the Garden
Giving Tuesday • November 27th

It has been an incredible year of growth in the Botanical Garden, and we could not do this work without the support of our wonderful community! Consider making a year-end gift to help us continue providing free admission and free educational programs to the public! In 2018:

- Volunteer docents led 2000+ visitors on guided tours, many from local public schools
- Volunteer gardeners contributed 1300+ hours of caring for the Garden
- We shared the wonder of plants with the public through more than 20 free events
- Infrastructure was greatly improved in the Garden with new paths, stairs and the opening of Park's Patio
- We collaborated with over 15 peer botanical institutions worldwide to expand the living collection

Thank you to all who donate your time and provide financial support to this urban oasis, we couldn't do it without you!  We're looking forward to 2019 and connecting even more people to nature and the beauty of plants. Your gift is critical in helping us provide free programming and tours for K-12 students, and ensuring that this beautiful garden thrives for generations to come. Give today!

Botany of the Holidays
Friday December 7th 4:30pm La Kretz Garden Pavilion

The holidays are a time for rest, relaxation, family and friends. To a botanist, they are also a case study of the deeply interconnected relationship between nature and culture. Join us as we share the botanical origins of some of the most ubiquitous holiday traditions, and see just how important plants are to the spirit of the season. We’re back for 2018 with new plants to explore! A reception will follow the presentation.

This event is free, but space is limited--please RSVP below.
