The Online Auction will not take place in February, but it is picking up steam, nonetheless. Although no hard date has been set, it will take place on Facebook.
Crystal has graciously offered to coordinate this event, with support from the Social Team. (I know she will not turn down more help, so please do let her know if you'd like to co-coordinate with her.)
How can you help?? We need stuff!! (It is an Auction, after all.)
Whether it's a thoughtfully-curated 'household essentials' pack, a gift card to your favourite local meat shop, homemade kuchen or tarts, an extra (unused) Instapot from the Christmas haul, or your very own handmade work of art... the sky's the limit. We will gratefully accept your donations of ANY size.
In case you're wondering, those who donate items/services do not need to be involved in the online activities in any way, and you do no need Facebook to participate! All the work of taking photos, posting them online, setting up and monitoring the auction, managing disputes and tracking income will be taken care of by the coordinator(s). We want this event to be accessible, achievable and meaningful for the entire congregation.
