The Better-late-than-never edition of

Hello <<First Name>>, the weekend lineup is below but first...

WEY To Book a Boat

At the last meeting of the Club Committee it was agreed that for greater fairness in sharing club boats, that we need to limit making block bookings. This has now been implemented by 'locking down' the boat booking sheets from 3rd January 2019 onwards. It is possible still to make bookings up to 2 weeks in advance with subsequent 2-week blocks being released weekly on a Thursday, starting 20th December.

This slightly revised procedure for booking boats will be reviewed after 3 months. If you have a particular need for booking further in advance, you can email your request to your vice captain and boat booking coordinator.

If venturing out before 08:00 at the weekend, please include on the boat booking sheet an estimated time of return, as well as your boating time; this helps with planning training sessions during the peak period.

Remember, you can access the boat bookings via (mobile app), via the new website, or by bookmarking this direct link.

It's a date!

A date is set for a long overdue Boathouse and Grounds Clearing Work-party:
Sunday December 16th

As ever, many hands make light work: please signup using the training signup sheet. Priority will be given to this over training sessions. If you wish to head out, please self-organise but we ask you include spending some time helping out and to boat either very early or once the work is done! Jobs include raking leaves, sweeping boathouse bays, re-organising riggers and boat bits, making repairs, lifting and shifting stuff like the gazebos to their new home, and more... much more!

Allocations will be made a couple days before, in much the same way as crew allocations, but if you have a particular wish or expertise in something, please use the signup sheet to say - many thanks.

There's much-to-do about the Club
