Hello <<First Name>>
and welcome to the

A Very Important Parking space awaits...
With thanks to the organisers of this year's Maidenhead Regatta - and that our rather healthy entry supports this fantastic regatta...
We have been offered 19 parking permits to be able to park on their neighbours' driveways on River Road - you will be directed by regatta traffic control upon arrival. This is strictly on a first-come-first-serve basis, so car-sharing is highly recommended.

Permits are £5 per space. To get your's simply email your full name and car registration. Please await payment details to then make a prompt online banking transfer for £5. I have not been advised refunds so will not send any prompt for payment to be made until we hear of the go/no-go decision - see below.

Assuming it's a go and once payment is received then, you will receive your printed A5 permit on Friday at trailer loading, 7pm at the Club - I will be there from 6pm.

Of course, feel free to take your chances, but we are reliably informed that parking anywhere near the Regatta is getting harder and harder.

From the Maidenhead Regatta Entries Secretary:

Please find attached important information for your crews attending Saturday’s regatta - this is all available on the website too.

Linked here also is the latest version of the timetable (version 2) which allows more time for change-overs between the Recreational races, which use our 2 boats throughout the day - this has moved some crews races by 3 minutes in the second half of the day.

Now to the troubling subject of the weather forecast for Saturday: many of you will have seen the Met Office Yellow warning for wind currently in force for Saturday. The Regatta Committee are monitoring the weather forecasts for Saturday and will make a provisional announcement regarding the Regatta on Thursday evening and a firm go/no-go decision midday Friday.

Good or bad, all club entries secretaries will notified and via our website of the decisions on Thursday and Friday - let’s hope the weather improves.

For now, our preparations to welcome you all to Maidenhead on Saturday continue apace.

It's Live, It's Live...! (and actually working)

Register* today to use the new WEY Hey! app
*Please wait the 7-10 seconds for 'Sign Up' box to appear.

What will I be able to do? As before, but now on a more stable platform, you can create your own login to continue signing up for sessions, view the weekend crew lineup (Seniors), book a boat, report an issue with a boat, report an incident, view the list of emergency contacts, shop for kit and more, and more new features to come...

What's happening to my previous app login? Why do I have to signup again? To remain GDPR compliant, individual logins for the first-generation WEY Hey! app will be deleted in a week or less. This should still give us time to make the switch to using the new mobile-friendly members' area. With greater information security, you can login afresh either using your Google or Facebook login or by creating a new login - thank you for your patience.
Huge and many thanks are owed to the many able to help out at last Friday's Community Regatta, now in its 6th year. Without doubt, without the organising committee and sponsors - as well as the 16 teams and their hosts, 5 coaches, 9 coxes, a sound technician and compere, 4 pairs of hands for the ergo competition and many spectators - the day would not have been such a success.

Plus, courtesy of David Gaylard, we have this photo album of the day’s festivities available here

A lineup in the making, of your making...
