There's lots of exciting news for September!

Dear Subscriber,

As the season turns from Summer to Autumn lets look forward, instead of regretting what we are leaving behind. Our sunbathing and barbecues might be coming to an end for the year, but there's peat fires, good reads and warming drams ahead. You'll find a lot about those last two in this month's issue of The Perthshire Magazine, with a review of Jim Mackintosh's new poetry collection and our brand new initiative- The Perthshire Whisky Club...

The Perthshire Whisky Club is an online community for people united by a love for whisky. There's some pretty cool reasons to join too. Certificate of membership anyone? You can find out more about the club here, or you can read our first article for it here. If you love a good single malt then this is not one to be missed!

We have other exciting things happening at the moment too. We took on two new team members in August: Demmie, who is a qualified graphic designer, will be helping us keep up with all the work involved in producing a stunning magazine for you each month. See if you can spot her first designs for us! And Becky has come on board as our dedicated sales and marketing manager, since the other team members have decided they much prefer the creative side of things. So if you're interested in advertising with us, she's your girl.

We are really proud of this month's issue, and we know so many of you love the striking photography and learning about some of the perhaps less well known aspects of this wonderful area. Thank you so much for your fantastic feedback, it makes us feel all warm and gooey inside.

Until next month (or until the 15th, if you become a member of the whisky club),

Nathan, Abigail, Becky and Demmie.
