WNC law enforcement to see drastic change in leadership 2022

Seven county law enforcement agencies across Western North Carolina will see new leaders in 2022 as the Sheriffs of Clay, Macon, Jackson, Yancey, Transylvania, Burke, and Haywood Counties will not be seeking re-election.

The Inside Scoop: You’re invited to Thanksgiving at our house

Being alone for the holidays is a difficult reality so many people in our community face. The loss of loved ones, difficulties in traveling, and other factors result in many of our friends and neighbors finding themselves alone this Thanksgiving. My family and I wanted to do something to change that. So if you find yourself without anywhere to celebrate this Thanksgiving, you are invited to spend it with us in our home in Franklin.
