New version of our rebar3 plugin supports downloading prebuilt cross OTP avoiding the lengthy RTEMS toolchain and OTP build.

Great toolchain improvement

on my last train ride I used a Laptop with only Erlang installed and got a new app deployed to a SD-card image ready to run on our GRiSP board with only mobile bandwidth (which was giving me between 20-50KiB/s download speed only).

Those of you who built the toolchain for GRiSP before surely have noticed that there is quite a lot to build and download:  First you need a RTEMS cross building toolchain and build the RTEMS libraries.  A process that can run quite long and downloads a lot.  Then you have to build the cross built ERTS with all the C level drivers and the OTP libs (with "rebar3 grisp build").

This is all over for most of you.  Since we provide all necessary C level drivers to talk to the available interfaces we can bake them into a downloadable cross built OTP.  The nice thing: it being only target dependent it works on all host architectures.  This is integrated into the latest version of the rebar3_grisp plugin which checks all C drivers and if there are no changes or additions here automagically downloads the pre-baked cross OTP.

Registration will begin from 08:30. The tutorial will run from 09:00-17:00 in the Proteus room.
