CHRISTMAS MUSICAL CELEBRATION
What a wonderful evening of music we enjoyed on December 13th! The CBS Kilkenny Music department outdid themselves and provided us with an enchanting evening of entertainment. They were joined on the night by the fantastic Loreto Choir who greatly added to the celebration. Performing the role of Master of Ceremonies with aplomb was former student and Newstalk presenter, Kieran Cuddihy.
Our very generous sponsors added to the festive spirit by supplying a range of fantastic prizes. Their support and yours is always very much appreciated.
Sincere thanks to Ms Dowling and to all of our talented musicians who have greatly enhanced our Christmas season.
You can view videos of the performances on our YouTube channel.
Here are a few to whet your appetite!

CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR
On Dec 8th, CBS Kilkenny opened its doors to a huge range of Christmas craftspeople and sellers. This initiative raised significant funds for the Basketball Department who are performing very well this year! The school was a festive wonderland, filled with wonderful works of craftsmanship and culinary delights. Thank you to all of our visiting retailers and to all of you who supported the fair, and thanks to Ms Kavanagh and Ms Sinnott for their organisation.

CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY
We enjoyed a very colourful and festive Christmas Jumper Day on December 6th. Unsurprisingly, CBS Kilkenny students and staff were extremely generous in their support of those less well off, raising an incredible €2130. All funds raised were divided between three fantastic local charities who do amazing work in the Kilkenny Carlow area - Simon Community, Focus Ireland and the Samaritans. Sincere thanks to Mr Downey for all of his altruistic work.
